I joined Twitter

I have started following Josh and a few of his friends on Twitter recently. I always seem to have trouble posting because I can't find anything to write about that has real content, well that problem has been solved. Now, I can just post the thing I am thinking at that moment and leave it at that.

Another Birthday Post

When I arrived at work today, this is what I found on my desk.

They are from the people I work with.
I am so lucky to have such a wonderful staff to work with.

Birthdays and blessings

Yesterday was my birthday. I am now 28 years old. I can't believe how quickly 30 is closing in! I went yesterday for a day of pampering and wanted to give you a run down of my day. I took a lot of pictures to share as well.

1. Went here for an associate to try some products on me.

Before I could make any purchases I had to leave to go meet up with Michelle for lunch.
2. Birthday lunch at Olive Garden with these girls was great.

These were the presents I got from them.

I also got some money from Genessa.
3. After lunch I went back to Sephora to get these products.

I got the "Naked" Body Butter as a gift for my birthday and the other little sample for free for spending so much money there.
4. Once I had my makeup I headed to this place for my 1 hour massage:

5. Once I was greatly relaxed I headed home to spend the rest of the evening with my wonderful hubby. This is the present he got me.

6. After I took a quick shower and got ready we headed out to dinner. I know this probably isn't the place most people want to go for a birthday dinner, but it was my dinner and b-day cake all in one.

This is why:

CHOCOLATE CHIP PANCAKES
After we got done with dinner we rented a couple movies and went home for the evening. Here is one last picture to show all the wonderful things I got yesterday.

Thanks to everyone for making my day so special. I was truly blessed by all of you.

calling all travelers

I pose a question to all the travelers I know:

My mom, sister and I are thinking of making a trip to New York City sometime in the spring. I was wondering if anyone knows tips, ideas, thoughts about traveling in NYC on a very cheap budget. Anyone know of a nice cheap place to stay? Free attractions?

Considering the thought of Plasma Donation

I have decided that I am going to sign up to donate plasma at our local BioLife. I do not really know anything about the process, but have lots of friends that have done it to earn extra cash. Well that is exactly what I need it for. I want to get my debt paid and go on vacation this year, and start our family, so I am going to donate as often as possible so I can earn some serious cash. Can someone give me some tips on how to do this????

Ohio Vacation/Holidays in pictures

Well at least the last few days once I got my brand new camera. I used my Christmas money and Josh' parents took me to the Base Exchange(BX) at Wright Patt Air Force Base to buy my camera. This is what I got:

It's a Canon Powershot A460

Now, on to the pics... I'm sure that's what you want anyways.

This is my sister Jamie and her daughter Lilli

This is Josh's mom- Pame

This is my parents on the day we had to leave to come home... that is why I look so terible, but it is the only pic I got with my parents.

This is our friends Larry and Jennifer and of course Josh and I!

Last but not least, this is the gang we hung out with on New Year's eve. Most of the people in the picture are teens we had in our youth group when we were leaders. We were at Josh's best friends parents house.

I took more pictures than just these but I didn't want this post to be forever long.
