A real test of faith

This week has been pretty difficult, and I will give everyone an alert. This post is going to be very serious and possibly emotionally trying for some. Without going into great detail, I will share our story.

On Monday, Josh and I went to our Doctor's appointment to hear the baby for the first time. Well after trying to listen, then 2 ultrasounds we discovered our worst nightmare. The baby did not have a heartbeat. Also, we found out that I have a cyst on my right ovary that is almost 10 cm in size. Needless to say the week has been quite emotional and finally today we are bringing this trying time to a close. I went today to have surgery and got back home around 4pm. I am doing well. I am already up moving around a little. My mom flew in yesterday and has been a huge blessing to us already.

Josh and I are really blessed by all the phone calls and prayers our friends and family have surrounded us with. I want you to know that I truly appreciate all of you. I feel like I have a huge family, that covers multiple states.

I feel that Josh and I are doing really well staying positive and looking to the future. We may not understand everything, but God is in control and all we can do is keep the faith.

I am ready to move forward and allow God to move me onto whatever is next in my life.
